it has been a long time...

and speaking of long time since I last blogged on xanga, here are a few things that I have done in just the last few days, what an eventful and extra-ordinary week!

doctor's appointment at 9am on monday morning! - For those who know my newest habit and schedule, I started sleeping in on monday mornings until noon without feeling guilty.  Dad needs to refill his prescription, we wait for his prescription, and official receipts.  Breakfast @ Pheonix, Grocery Shopping @ TaiFung, I almost forget to mention I was on the treadmill for 45 minutes, made dinner, and again 'experimented' with the Breadmaker again.  This is crazy for someone who woke up at 9am and still have few things to print at 1am, in order to meet up with Accountant the next morning @11 the next day!

For everyone who is not supposed to memorize my beloved schedule, I normally don't leave my house for work on tuesdays until 3:45pm.  (It used to be 4:15pm until February this year.)  So 11am at the accountant's office with all the documents and numbers that he asked for is asking tremendouly a lot of me!  Reasons why I could not schedule to meet with accountant later in the day, is because I have to "nvoluntarily" VOLUNTEER myself for this festival that is going on, although it was very fruitful.  It was very rewarding becuase I heard some of the best Rachmaninoff Preludes, which were not exactly my most familiar territories, and in addition, I heard a 14 year-old boy playing most amazingly one of the hardest literature written by Mr. Maurice Ravel, the Scarboro!!!

Aside from some normal teaching routine, tuesday night was much busier than usual.  Instead of changing into more relaxed clothes to get some exercises done, and munched, had to quickly logged onto computer, suddenly there were a dozen of phone calls and emails to return in less than 30 minutes, accounts info to change due to a misplaced cc, down-grade of an utility service, confirming a ticket on May 9, and another event on May 11, then a possible long awaited and over-due 'trip' in August.

This wednesday is appointment with Ruby again.  Then instead of the usual relaxing afternoon until work begin at late afternoon, this month is about a new schedule that starts from 5:15pm.  But this week to pick up a pair of tickets for this Sunday's show, I had to meet up with Mr. K at Tim H's at 3:30pm.  Chilled out until 5pm and then to make it even more fun, as if there is not enough changes this week, Mrs. H called and want to 'un-changed' her request about two nights ago.  Stayed at work until 10:30pm because of this ARCT Non-Bach class, and always a little more regular gossips after each 'session'...

So as of now, Friday 12:47am, I am going hungry again with no real dinner during normal dinner time, I still have a list of phone calls to make, i.e. speedpass, TD, parents CC, JL, AK & KM, and long week is approaching, with more closing hours, holiday schedule, my 4-day long weekend schedule is still unsettled!

To top it all off, I am still trying to wake up EARLY for easter service in the morning!  Or perhaps I should attend  the evening session after I deal with GD, AC and/or CC and maybe even HM?  If all these should happening smoothly tomorrow, it would mean I will be "empty-stomached" every night until sunday night.  Newsflash, LL just called and informed me of another 'special' event that I do not want to miss!  And this MAY be the chance for me to meet F, the lady boss of P-music.  T called to tell me of his wedding date, which is on May 10, hmm..

Sunday night is the Musical, S of Music, I clearly haven't made actual plans how to realize this special rare Sunday of no work for me.

All right, hot soup I made a few nights ago is ready, looks like a really old James Bond filmed in Thailand with Roger Moore is on TV.

p.s. oops, forgot to call CJW &, KL.  I still owe myself enough sit-ups this week.  Seriously, almost can't remember when was the last 'week' I accomplished soooo much.  I Better GO now, instead of spending less time getting much needed quality rest.  zzZZzz!

Humour of the Day

I was asked by the computer today when I was trying to log on to my bank account on a computer I normally wouldn't use:

Q: What is your oldest's child's middle name?

A: Let me ask the husband I don't have.  =D

I actually said that humoursly of course as I called up one of the many telephone service representatives.  She laughed too.

Words women use

Fine : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour.  Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

Go Ahead
: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

That's Okay
: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

Thanks
: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome.

Whatever
: Is a women's way of saying F@!K YOU!

Don't worry about it, I got it
:
Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking  "What's wrong?" For the woman's response refer to #3.

"got this from my bro..."

a bundle of 3 movies for a 7 day rental!

Hmm. wonder if I would still rent the MATCH POINT(2005), if I have read closer that it is Woody Allen who is the director of this movie.  Well I just http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0416320/ it, and found out it is his FIRST movies in 19 years to make a profit in the United States, following 21 that didn't make any!  The Last one was HANNAH and Her Sister (1986).  Guess it is the really bad publicity surrounding him that turns me off, although I know not much, so I can't judge now.  And hmm... the plot keywords are listed as: Marriage/Pregnancy/Extramarital Affair, and intimcay and is rated R!  Great, I hope the other two movies I got are a little more normal.  Let's see!

2) The Weather Man(2005)

I grabbed this because the box read, "the Weather Man... whose annual salary is 6 figured high, works only TWO HOURS/day...!!! Need I say more, I like to really see what a man does during the rest of the waking hours when everyone ELSE is WORKING, and NOT making 6 figured Salary.  So here, the Weather Man, played by Mr. CAGE, is separated from his wife and children, examines his personal life and professional life!  Hmm.. all of this sounds familiar?  (Ya right, I wish I am making 6 figures too, but frankly I think working two hours for me is too unrealistic.  I am quite sure, even if I was only asked to be working 2 hours/day, I would still be geeky enough to prepare and research further to feel more responsible and strive for more perfection!  And besides looking at my current situation.. if I were making 6 figured salary, I probably end up having minimal $ in my accounts, NOT BECAUSE I am a BIG spender... sigh.. but I have sucked myself in playing the role of a Big who knows what... Guess I can neither talk nor complain about it!  ... FAMILY!

"boy, I am super talkative today!  hope it is theraputic to write my xanga like this!"

3)  OH since I couldn't find "Pride and Prejudice" and/or the Last Kiss.  I rented FLIGHT PLAN out of all the other choices I still had?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! What was I thinking?  I thought I wanted to RELAX!!!!!!!!  Ah, hope it is a good Thriller... =S

Last but not least, hope the WARMER weather returns as forecasted so CC and I can enjoy hiking on Saturday.

Sunday is the infamous first day of this new theory term.  I really ought not WHINE about it.. since I really need the courses!!!!!!  (For the first time in more than a decade, I was the FIRST one to pick up the Pay-Check before it was inserted in my binder.  How sad and desperate!  Why is this happening to me when I have been consistedly making more $ in the past few months since I started working more than a decade ago!  Why did I feel so much RICHER when I made so little before... sob sob... actually I know why.. but just NOW I have to think of how I don't let it become my FATE)

I need to think POSITIVE AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN.. I must learn to use my POWER once again!!!!!!!!!
